High School - Fieldhouse, Pirate Pavilion, Track

Facility Scorecard
Executive Summary
The Granbury High School Track, Fieldhouse, and Pirate Pavilion, built in 1995, 1999, and 2003 respectively, are currently in fair to good condition. The track surface is deteriorating and should be replaced to maintain safety and usability. At the Fieldhouse, signs of foundation movement, evidenced by exterior masonry wall cracking, suggest the need for an engineering study to assess and mitigate potential structural concerns. Addressing building envelope issues would also help preserve the facility’s integrity. Routine maintenance, including refreshing walls, floors, and ceiling surfaces, is needed throughout. The modified bitumen roof system has exceeded its life expectancy and should be scheduled for replacement. The HVAC system is aging, with 56% of total tonnage at or past life expectancy and the remaining 44% expected to reach that threshold within the next five years, warranting a phased replacement plan. With ongoing maintenance and targeted funding for priority upgrades, these facilities could continue to serve the district effectively for another 20 to 25 years.
