Facility Scorecard
Executive Summary
Originally constructed in 1983 as an instructional campus, the Granbury Administration facility has undergone several renovations and additions in 1982, 1984, 1990, 2017, and 2018, with the major 2017 renovation converting it into the Granbury ISD Administrative Offices. The main facility is in good overall condition; however, signs of foundation movement have been observed, and an engineering study is recommended to determine appropriate mitigation measures. Minor interior maintenance needs are also present. The roof system has exceeded its life expectancy and should be scheduled for replacement. Additionally, the majority of HVAC systems and components are at or beyond their expected lifespan and should be included in a phased replacement plan. The adjacent “Filter House” is in fair condition and requires a roof replacement along with updates to various building components. With these repairs and upgrades, the facility is well-positioned to continue serving the district effectively for another 20 to 25 years.
