Facility Scorecard
High School/Auditorium/Gym
Executive Summary
Completed in 1982, the Frankston ISD High School Auditorium has been added onto over the years creating a secondary campus with classroom wings and in 2014 a cafe and gym were added. While the campus houses most programs for secondary students, the facilities are in need of updates and several major systems have aged past their useful life span. The roof systems are in fair poor condition and signs of water intrusions are visible inside most spaces. Plumbing and electrical systems should be further evaluated for both condition and capacity. Many of the HVAC units are reaching the end of their useful life cycle and the district should plan to replace more than 50% of its cooling capacity in the next 3-5 years. Overall, the structures are in fair condition and with adequate maintenance and repairs should continue to serve the district for another 20-30 years.
