At the time of replacement, roof access hatches safety rails should be replaced and skylights should be inspected, resealed for water tightness, or replaced.
The Main metal roof seams, flashings, and fasteners should be closely inspected and repaired as necessary to prevent water intrusion. Roof inspections should continue at least semi-annually and after every significant weather event.
