Lyford CISD - Main Campus - Staff Development Building

Executive Summary

Built in 1960, the Staff Development building is used by the district as a flex campus for training. This structure shows significant cracking the in the exterior brick and a structural evaluation should be completed at each building. Maintenance and repair to various building components is needed and several ADA updates to bring the buildings into compliance. No designated paved parking is available to the staff at these buildings and additional site lighting is needed. With the structural and foundation issues, age of the building, and the needed maintenance and repair work, the district should consider the cost to repair in light of the cost to replace.
