The Chester Elementary (1979) and Junior High (1987) facilities are in fair condition but are in need of maintenance and repair of various building components and system replacements. The roof on the JH should be replaced due to age and substantial deterioration and deficiencies with the ES roof should be addressed. Aging infrastructure and HVAC systems should be updated or replaced. Additional space for specialty programs should be considered. In all, the interior of the facilities is in fair to poor condition and in need of updates. With adequate maintenance, the campus should continue to serve the district for an additional 25 years.
