Breckenridge ISD - East Elementary School - Gym
East Elementary School - Gym

Facility Scorecard
Executive Summary
Built sometime in the 1980s the Gym was an addition to the original 1959 East Elementary School campus, followed by a classroom addition in 2005 completing the campus as we see it today. The freestanding metal building is in fair to good condition with maintenance and repair needs common for a structure of its age and construction. Re-sealing the building envelope by sealing exterior wall panels is the critical path to maintaining the structure and interior air quality. Consideration should be given to installing conditioned air, updating technology, installing LED lighting, and refreshing finish surfaces both on the interior and exterior. District should review and consider Safety & Security Recommendations on the Facility Details page. In all, the interior of the facility provides an adequately sized physical educational environment. With updates, renovations, and proper maintenance this facility could continue to serve the district for an additional 20-25 years.
