Executive Summary
The ALC and DAEP facility was built in 1965 as a single-family residential structure. This facility is across W. Lindsey St. from the Main Campus for Breckenridge ISD. The Main Campus contains the High School built in 1967, Junior High School built 1969, LT Cook Gym and Junior High Field House 1969, Cafeteria with Home Economics and Life skills 1957, Vocational and Band Hall 1957, Practice Gym 1957, VOE Classrooms 1979, Ag Classrooms and Shop 1985, the Buckeroo Stadium, Auditorium 1988, and Athletic and Fine Arts Center was built in 2008. The Main campus is 10.76 acres in size. The ALC and DAEP facility is in fair condition needing maintenance and updates. Windows need to be re-sealed and re-caulked along with weatherstripping on the exterior doors. Roof gutters, downspouts, and splash blocks are recommended. Additionally, the interior finish surfaces need refreshing and technology should be updated. District should review and consider Safety & Security Recommendations on the Facility Details page. In all, this facility supports the educational environment. With repairs, updates, and proper maintenance this facility could continue to serve the district for an additional 15 plus years.
