Executive Summary

Built in 2007, the Connally High School Football Athletic facilities are in good condition. The Football Athletic facilities include the press box (1975), ticket booth and concession (2007), and the multi-purpose facility (2007). While the facility is in good condition, the facility is in need of maintenance and repair of various building components. Evidence of possible foundation movement was observed and the district should consider consulting with an engineer to determine cause and solution of the movement. The modified bitumen roof should be replaced due to age and evidence of water intrusion. Older HVAC system components should be addressed at the time of replacement. Minor repairs to exterior windows and refinishing exterior doors is needed. In addition, safety and security enhancements should be considered. In all, the interior of the facility is in good condition and provides a well-maintained educational environment that is conducive to learning. With adequate maintenance, the campus should continue to serve the district for an additional 25-30 years.
