Executive Summary

The athletic fields used by Waskom High School are generally in good condition, but some repairs and maintenance are needed. The softball field and facilities are located behind the Middle School campus; the softball fieldhouse dates to 1972 and the softball field and facilities dates to about 1995; major interior and exterior repairs are needed at the softball fieldhouse. The baseball field is located in the middle of town remote from any campus; the field and facilities date to about 2005. The football field is located behind the High School campus; the field and facilities date to about 2005. Major improvements are needed at the softball and baseball fields to improve ADA access. With adequate maintenance, the athletic facilities should serve the district for another 30-40 years.
