Roof: The maintenance and transportation roof systems are comprised of a series of metal roofs installed over the course of several decades starting in 1989. The roofs are in fair to poor condition with several components needing replacement and repair. Missing fasteners and sealants should be replaced and damaged sections that have aged past their useful life should be replaced. Due to the age of most of the system, full replacement is recommended, but options to extend the life of the system should be further explored. The district should consider adding additional square footage to the bus storage areas to fully cover all vehicles. Gutters and downspouts should be replaced where damaged cannot be repaired and added where none exist to ensure that water is moved away from the facilities.
