Bland ISD - Annex, Maintenance, and Bus Buildings

Executive Summary

The Maintenance building constructed in 1979 and Annex building constructed in 1993 are generally in good condition but are in need of maintenance and repair of various building components. Both buildings are used as storage. The items in storage should be removed, inventoried, and excess items should be disposed of. The metal roofs should be inspected for water tightness and repaired as necessary. Updates to meet ADA compliance are needed. The annex would be a good location for district administrative office spaces after a refresh of the building interior. Updated wall, ceiling, and floor finishes are recommended. HVAC system components at or beyond useful life expectancy should be replaced. In all, the interior of the facility is in fair condition. With adequate maintenance, the facilities should continue to serve the district for an additional 15-20 years.
