Bland ISD - Administration

Executive Summary

Built in 1988, the Bland ISD Administration facility is in good condition but is in need of maintenance and repair of various building components. The roof should be replaced due to age and substantial degranulation. Drainage and potential foundation issues should be addressed. Building mechanical systems 30 years of age or older should be closely inspected and repaired per report. Lighting should be updated to LED. Updates to meet ADA compliance should be considered. In addition, safety and security enhancements should be considered. In all, the interior of the facility is in good condition and provides a well-maintained environment. With the current administrative spaces are on the small side, the district should consider relocating to the Annex building. With adequate maintenance, the facility should continue to serve the district for an additional 15-20 years.
