Executive Summary

Jackson Gym was built in 2004 preceded by the Elementary campus in 1960. The Jackson Gym facility is in good condition overall but needs maintenance and repair of various building components. The gutters and downspouts should be cleared of any obstructions, high touched surfaces should be refreshed. The HVAC units should be scheduled for replacement in the next 4 to 6 years. District should review and consider Safety and Security Recommendations. In addition, interior door hardware should be updated to ADA compliant hardware. In all, the interior of the facility is in good condition and provides a well-maintained educational environment that is conducive to learning. With adequate maintenance, the campus should continue to serve the district for an additional 25-30 years.
