Executive Summary

Built in 1969, the Chester High School facility and VoAg buildings (1985) are is in poor condition with concerns about structural issues and many of the major systems needing updates and repairs. The HS gym Is in fair condition, but is in need of maintenance and repair of various building components. The various athletic buildings, including concessions, press boxes and restrooms are in fair condition as well, but will need updates and repairs to building components as well. The district weight room building (1953) is in overall poor condition and based on the repair costs compared to replacement costs, the district should consider demolishing the structure. All roofs need damaged components repaired and ongoing manufacture-recommended maintenance should be implemented. HVAC units have aged out and need to be replaced. In addition several security updates should be addressed.
