La Pryor ISD - Baseball and Softball Complex

Executive Summary

Built in 1997, the La Pryor ISD Baseball and Softball complex is in good condition but is in need of maintenance and repair of various building components. The roof system of the softball press box has failed and should be completely replaced. The building exteriors should be refinished and painted. Minor ADA updates to restrooms should be made. A backstop should be installed on the softball field to contain the infield dirt. In addition, a field house and restroom building should be considered to be constructed halfway in between the baseball and softball fields. In all the complex provides a well-maintained athletic environment. With adequate maintenance, the campus should continue to serve the district for an additional 25-30 years.
