Executive Summary

Built in 1976, with the addition of a Conference Room Portable in 1991, the La Pryor ISD Administration building is in good to fair condition but is in need of maintenance and repair of various building components. Evidence of possible foundation movement was observed, consider hiring an engineer to study causes and possible solutions to foundation movement. HVAC system components beyond useful life expectancy should be replaced. Refinishing of exterior walls, interior walls, and ceiling are needed. ADA updates to the main building and portable are needed. Building mechanical systems 30 years of age or older should be closely inspected and repaired or replaced per report. Updates to LED lighting will improve the administrative environment. In addition, security enhancements should be considered. In all, the interior of the facility is in good to fair condition. With adequate maintenace, the facilities should continue to serve the district for an additional 25-30 years.
