Executive Summary

The Breckenridge Practice Gym was built in 1957. This facility is located on the Main Campus along with the High School built in 1967, Junior High School built 1969, Cafeteria with Home Economics and Life skills 1957, Vocational and Band Hall 1957, Cook Gym 1969, VOE Classrooms 1979, Ag Shop and Classrooms 1985, the Buckeroo Stadium, Auditorium 1988, and the Athletic and Arts Facility in 2008. The Main campus is 10.76 acres in size. The Practice Gym is in fair condition overall needing minor maintenance work re-sealing the building envelop, refreshing interior and exterior finish surfaces. Replacement of HVAC systems at or past their expected useful life should be scheduled. Additionally, refreshing of the interior finished surfaces, updating door hardware for ADA compliance is recommended. District should review and consider Safety & Security Recommendations on the Facility Details page. In all, the interior of the facility provides an educational environment that is conducive to learning. With updates, repairs, and proper maintenance this facility could continue to serve the district for an additional 25-30 years.
