Executive Summary

The Breckenridge VOE Classrooms were built in 1979. This facility is located on the Main Campus along with the High School built in 1967, Junior High School built 1969, Practice Gym, Cafeteria with Home Economics and Life skills 1957, Vocational and Band Hall 1957, Cook Gym 1969, Ag Shop and Classrooms 1985, the Buckeroo Stadium, Auditorium 1988, and the Athletic and Arts Facility in 2008. The Main campus is 10.76 acres in size. The VOE Classroom building itself is in fair to good condition. The facility needs minor maintenance work re-sealing the building envelop and refreshing exterior finish surfaces. There are some holes in the interior masonry walls needing repair and refinishing. District should consider budgeting for replacement of the HVAC systems by 2026. Additionally, refreshing of the interior finished surfaces, updating door hardware for ADA compliance, and updating technology is recommended. District should review and consider Safety & Security Recommendations on the Facility Details page. In all, the interior of the facility provides an educational environment that is conducive to learning. With updates, repairs, and proper maintenance this facility could continue to serve the district for an additional 25-30 years.
