Executive Summary

Built in 1974, the Connally High School campus is comprised of the High School Main Building and Administration-ECHS Building. The facility is in fair to good condition but is in need of maintenance and repair of various building components. The modified bitumen roof should be replaced due to age and substantial degranulation. Older HVAC system components should be addressed at the time of replacement. Updating lighting to LED fixtures is recommended. Building mechanical systems 30 years of age or older should be closely inspected and updated as necessary. In addition, refreshing the interior doors, walls, floors, and ceilings of the facility is recommended. In all, the interior of the facility is in fair to good condition and provides a well-maintained educational environment that is conducive to learning. With adequate maintenance, the campus should continue to serve the district for an additional 25-30 years.
